Pho VietFresh

We have ordered here many times and have always been extremely satisfied. The food is delicious and the service is very friendly. The last time we ordered 2 portions of pho. When we unpacked the ingredients at home, we saw that the meat was undercooked. My wife packed up the food again and went back to the restaurant. When asked if we wanted it well done, my wife said yes. At home, we unpacked the food again and realized that the meat was still undercooked. (see attached photo).

Great crispy spring rolls and the bun with pork was flavored and cooked nicely. The pho is very good, not my favorite in all of northern Virginia but very good. The crispy spring rolls here may be my favorite anywhere, and I have probably tried over 20 different Vietnamese restaurants in NoVA. Big portions, too, I ate well and have this leftover…

My Banh Mi was one of the best I've had in NoVA. However, I ordered a Thai tea with no ice, and you can see in the picture that what they gave me was just over half a cup. Then they tried to charge $6 for this when the menu shows the price as $5.25. When I questioned it they said the menu wasn't updated yet and they refunded the $0.75. This is the third place I've been to in the past month that tried to charge a price higher than the one on the menu and then say the menu was outdated. Nickel-and-diming customers seems to be common practice around this area, and I don't understand how businesses think losing the trust and goodwill of their customers is good for their bottom line. Maybe I'll come back for their banh mi someday, but never ordering drinks here again.

Would give 6 stars if I could . Called in for carry out since we were in transit to our hotel In Reston after a long drive from Virginia Beach. Ordered goi cuon (fresh spring rolls) and two orders of Bun Bo Hue (one with pig knuckles). When I went inside to pick up my order, ambiance is great, well lit and clean. Service was great too since they mistakenly gave me pig’s blood and no pig knuckles. So they immediately told me to wait a few. When I stepped out and came back, they gave me the extra pig knuckles. No fuss, no extra charge - that is great service! The to go packaging is wonderful and well thought out where the dry ingredients are in deep paper bowls (think ramen bowls), very fresh veggies packed separately and broth piping hot. Everything was delicious. They even give you shrimp paste perfect condiment for the Bun Bo Hue!
